The Atlanta Citizen Review Board was created to allow citizens to file complaints and be heard with regards to allegations of police or correctional officer misconduct in our city. In light of recent high profile violent events involving police shootings of young African Americans in communities around the country, ACRB Executive Director Lee Reid appeared on The WCLK Public Affairs Block to discuss the board's ongoing work and initiatives and the process by which citizens can be heard in Atlanta in the event of alleged police misconduct.
Nina Hickson is a former juvenile court judge. She serves as chair of the legislative issues and public affairs committee for the Buckhead-Cascade City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, a national service organization.
