Citrus Sun is a band that includes Bluey from Incognito and legendary finger picking guitarist Jim Mullen. Their new record People of Tomorrow also includes most members of Incognito. You might guess that WCLK is all over this, and you would be right. People of Tomorrow is the Serenade To The City Pick of The Week, chosen by station PD Aaron Cohen, who is currently playing Yesterday Detroit and People of Tomorrow on the station.

The Sunset Jazz Festival is back for another evening of contemporary jazz on Saturday, July 12 at 8 p.m. The show is part of the ASO's Delta Classic Chastain Series and features the hottest smooth jazz artists in the game including Boney James, Brian Culbertson and Summer Love featuring Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown & Alex Bugnon.

Congratulations to Curtis Jones of College Park, who won the grand prize drawing following WCLK's Spring Membership Campaign. Everyone who supported WCLK during our drive was entered for a chance to win tickets and accommodations at the upcoming Seabreeze Jazz Festival. Jones' name was pulled during Morning Jazz with Morris on Monday and now he will be off to Panama City Beach for salt air, sunshine, and live jazz.
Guitarist Earl Klugh returns to the Ferst Center For The Arts at Georgia Tech on Saturday, April 12, with a Night Of Guitars that includes solo, duo and trio performances with fellow guitarists Chuck Loeb and Norman Brown.
Klugh's latest record is Handpicked, a collection of his favorite cover songs. Klugh and WCLK's Jay Edwards chatted recently about the record, the upcoming Atlanta performance, and his role as an artist inside and outside of jazz.
Atlanta will play host to this year's UNCF An Evening of Stars and the performance lineup is nothing less than spectacular. Grammy-winning artist Jill Scott will headline along with R&B legends, The Isley Brothers. Also scheduled to perform is gospel superstar Ty Tribbett, R&B newbies Sevyn Streeter and August Alsina, soul music artist Alice Smith and YouTube sensation, Spoken Reason. Actor Anthony Anderson is back as the host.

WCLK, Clark Atlanta University, Verizon Wireless, and the Partnership Against Domestic Violence(PADV) began a compelling monthly series of radio programs designed to bring about healthy, violence free relationships. The Call To True Beauty's debut program featured Host Daphne Walker talking with Jennifer Bivins, President and CEO of The Georgia Network To End Sexual Assault(GNESA). April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month nationwide, and Walker and Bivins took several calls from a wide range of people with questions and experience with this issue.
