Stone Mountain’s Sweet Potato won bragging rights as a finalist in Georgia’s Best Shrimp & Grits cooking competition. Their selection was based on public online voting and earned Chef Karen Patton the opportunity to represent Metro Atlanta at the 2017 Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival, Saturday, September 16. Sweet Potato Cafe will compete against restaurants representing the other eight regions of Georgia.
