Join us Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 a.m.  for Dr. Judi, The People’s Advocate.   Social Worker, Dr. Judi Crocker Billingsley talks with Ari Berman of The Nation Institute.   His new book  Give Us the Ballot: The Modern Struggle for Voting Rights In America is a narrative history that charts the transformation of the American democracy under the Voting Rights Act and the current counter-revolution that has sought to limit voting rights.  In addition to being a social worker, Judi Crocker Billingsley is an author, researcher, consultant to the Congressional Institute of Social Work and Policy and, an educator at Clark Atlanta University and Troy University.
