Fulton Focus on WCLK features Job Fair, Aviation Community Cultural Center, Upgraded 911
Fulton County is your county at your service. As part of the monthly Fulton Focus program in the WCLK Public Affairs Block, Rob Maynard caught up with several Fulton County knowledge experts.
Jason Lane, Job Development Specialist brought news about a Job Fair initiated by Fulton County District 6 Commissioner Joan P. Garner. This event takes place Wednesday, April 23 from 10a until 2p at the Fulton County Government Center at 141 Pryor Street in downtown Atlanta. Lisa Tuttle, Interim Director of Fulton County Department of Arts and Culture, and Program Manager Robin Williams joined Fulton Focus to talk about the upcoming grand opening of the Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center, at Charlie Brown Airport. This facility will salute art, aviation, and minority aviation pioneers in a purpose-built architectural gem designed to bring cultural development to the Fulton Industrial Boulevard Corridor and the community at large. Katrina Harley is the Interim Assistant Director for the Fulton County Emergency Communications Department. She joined Fulton Focus to talk about recent upgrades in their systems communications network, and also suggested best practices in the event you need to contact 911.
