The concert will feature songs from Porter’s new offering, Take Me to the Alley that includes the anthemic “Holding On.”  Porter has made the world his musical home and spreads his soulful vibes, bold overtures and melodic precision with song.  Kandace Springs is no newcomer.  The Nashville, Tennessee native is able to channel legendary Jazz influencers with a remarkable freshness.   Springs attracted the attention of music icon Prince, who heard her makeover of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” As a result, he invited her to perform with him at Paisley Park for the 30th anniversary of Purple Rain. The WCLK Anniversary Concert is sure to be an evening of spectacular Jazz, music and memories.
