Saxophonist, Flutist, and Composer Henry Threadgill consistently pushes boundaries as a jazz artist. This weekend on WCLK you can hear Threadgill on Jazz Night In America from NPR. The program airs at 6a Saturday morning and 7p Sunday evening. These performances were recorded live at Harlem Stage, and feature a collection of Threadgill's works curated by Pianist Jason Moran.
Jazz Night In America is the latest jazz offering from NPR Music, hosted by Christian McBride. It has replaced Jazz Set with Dee Dee Bridgewater, which ceased production earlier in this fall, and can be heard exclusively in Atlanta on WCLK thanks to our members and supporters. Thank you!
