Stride Pianist, James P. Johnson is one of Jazz music’s originators. Jazz Night In America with Christian McBride from NPR Music features the music of Johnson with live performances from Jazz At Lincoln Center including Kkeyboardists Aaron Diehl, Ethan Iverson and Marc Carey.
Also featured will be the James P. Johnson Collection at the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University.
