Jazz Tones Insights: Morgan Guerin

Morgan Guerin

Morgan Guerin was a child prodigy and was given his first pair of drum sticks at six months. He grew up within a musical family and was influenced by his father saxophonist Roland Guerin and his mother Brianna Williams, an entertainment attorney. Morgan is currently studying at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. He was also a member of the Rialto Youth Jazz Orchestra directed by Gordon Vernick. Morgan has two self-releases, The Saga and The Saga II. Guerin will be performing at the Atlanta Jazz Festival Contemporary Stage on Saturday May 26  at 3:30 PM with Terri Lyne Carrington and Social Science. He'll be playing bass, saxaphone and electronic wind instrument.
