For the past decade, New York based Keyboardist/Arranger/Engineer, Jesse Fischer, has been quietly keeping the tradition of Jazz-Funk/Fusion with his band Soul Cycle. On his latest effort, Daydreamer, he takes a different musical route whilst keeping the sound foundation of his past group alive and well.
He returns with a set that is steeped in Jazz, Soul, Funk, Balkan and Jewish Folk music, Classical and any other style that can be classified as soulful. This is also the very first release solely under his name so you can see why this effort is so personal. He will also be performing in Atlanta on Saturday, October 3 at Marietta Jazz & Jokes with the band Sidewalk Chalk.
