Atlanta will play host to this year's UNCF An Evening of Stars and the performance lineup is nothing less than spectacular. Grammy-winning artist Jill Scott will headline along with R&B legends, The Isley Brothers. Also scheduled to perform is gospel superstar Ty Tribbett, R&B newbies SevynStreeter and August Alsina, soul music artist Alice Smith and YouTube sensation, Spoken Reason. Actor Anthony Anderson is back as the host.
UNCF President and CEO Dr. Michael Lomax was pleased to announce the return of Anderson as host and the show's new location. "There is no better home for this iconic evening of entertainment than Atlanta," said Lomax. "I want to personally thank Anthony and encourage all Atlantans to join us for this incredible show planned to raise much needed funds to invest in better futures for young people across this country."
The show is being taped at the Atlanta Civic Center on Sunday, April 6 and will air on BET on Sunday, April 13 at 10 p.m. EST.
