Check out a few photos from the New Orleans premiere of FX’s new drama “Snowfall.” The screening took place at the Theaters at Canal Place.

The project’s co-creator John Singleton was attendance along with R&S singer, songwriter and actor Tank, film actor Dennis White and “Basketball Wives L.A.” star Angel Love. Singleton was also joined by New Orleans radio personalities Wild Wayne and Angel Saunders of Q93.

Snowfall” chronicles the rise of crack-cocaine in Los Angeles during the early 1980s and follows four distinct characters including Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), young street entrepreneur on a quest for power; Gustavo Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), a Mexican wrestler caught up in a power struggle within a crime family; Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson), a CIA operative running from a dark past who begins an off-book operation to fund the Nicaraguan Contras; and Luica Villanueva (Emily Rios), the self-possessed daughter of a Mexican crime lord.  It also features Amin Joseph and Atlanta’s own Isaiah John.
