Atlanta welcomes Spring each year with the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park, and Jazz 91.9 WCLK will be there Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 to meet and greet our listeners and members. The 80th Annual Dogwood Festival presented by PNC Bank runs Friday, April 8 from Noon until 11:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The festival features an artists market, international stage, disc-dog competition, refreshments, barbecue, adult beverages and a kids village. One of this year's special festival features is an Atlanta High School Art Exhibition. The coordinator of that event, Cheryl Myrbo and Art Teacher, Becky Raffolovich stopped by Midday Jazz with Rivablue to talk about the student aspect of this year's festival.
