The Local Take Talks With Russell Patterson of AID Atlanta

As part of The Local Take's ongoing conversation on men and health we speak with Russell Patterson from AID Atlanta. We discuss the recent reports that HIV and AIDS is in full blown epidemic in Atlanta.

Russell Patterson explains the new process for treating HIV which can result in a viral count of 0 after 72 hours on the new drug cocktails. This means that there is no reason for anyone to die of full blown AIDS in 2016. He walks us through the testing process with results now being delivered in minutes.  He shares that Friday, June 27 is National HIV Testing Day.   In addition, Mr. Patterson will join us on Saturday, June 28 at Northlake Mall for our Men's Community Health Forum.
