Jazz 91.9 WCLK listeners enjoyed cuts from Elias' 2015 release Made In Brazil, in particular the song Driving Ambition. Her performance at the Atlanta Jazz Festival created a memorable Brazilian music buzz in the city too. Elias has a new record coming out this week called Dance of Time, on Concord Jazz. She continues in her multiple roles as producer, composer, lyricist, arranger, pianist and vocalist. The record also features a band of Brazilian players and songs highlighting traditional songs from throughout her career. You can hear cuts from this new release at various times on WCLK, during Serenade To The City, Monday through Fridays from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
