PNC Bank is a supporter of 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta's Jazz Station. Many listeners have heard about their Grow Up Great Program on the station. The PNC Bank Grow up Great program began in 2004. This program is an outgrowth from PNC employee suggestions that the company support children and education. With this direction from their employees, PNC felt that early childhood education was the right cause. They studied compelling research that shows a focus on children from birth to age five could reap significant gains for the children, their families and society overall.
PNC Grow Up Great formed a $350 million dollar, multi-year program to prepare children - particularly undeserved children with the necessary tools for success in school.
By partnering with established and respected non-profits PNC Grow Up Great has served approximately 2 million at risk preschool children ages five and under.
