Jazz 91.9 WCLK is live from the Atlanta Business League Super Tuesday Conference at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel on September 26. On Saturday, September 23 at 7:00 a.m. on WCLK, The Local Take talked with Alexis Davis Smith, co-chair of the Atlanta Business League 33rd Annual Super Tuesday Conference. Alexis explained that the event has three components: 1) the Women of Vision Breakfast; 2) concurrent workshops; and, 3) the awards luncheon.
Super Tuesday Conference Honorees include Dr. Rogsbert Phillips Reed and Ms. Wonya Lucas. The Women of Vision luncheon will highlight 100 successful women business leaders. The workshops are along three tracks Entrepreneur, Business Professional and Personal Development.
This year's conference will introduce the Lottie H. Watkins Award in honor of Ms. Watkins who was the first African American woman to own her own full-service real estate firm.
