Check out the trailers below from a few new films that open in theaters this weekend. The first movie is "STEP" which follows the lives of an all-female step team from the mean streets of Baltimore, MD. The indie project, directed by Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Amanda Lipitz, follows three of the young steppers---Blessing Giraldo, Tayla Solomon and Cori Grainger---as they matriculate through the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Ladies. It is a heartwarming story that won an award at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

The second film is Halle Berry's "KIDNAP." The Oscar-winning actress stars as a single mother who will stop at nothing to recover her son. I got a chance to see it earlier this week and it is truly a heart-pumping, "edge of your seat" type of movie that will keep you guessing all the way to the end.

The last film is "The Dark Tower" starring Golden Globe-winning actor Idris Elba and Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey. Roland Deschain (Elba), the last Gunslinger, is locked in an eternal battle with Walter O'Dim (McConaughey), also known as the Man in Black. The Gunslinger must prevent the Man in Black from toppling the Dark Tower, the key that holds the universe together. With the fate of worlds at stake, two men collide in the ultimate battle between good and evil.
