UPFRONT featuring Latrice Pace, the cast of 'Snowfall', BLFF and Jamal Ahmad (AUDIO)

This week's edition of UPFRONT features my red carpet interviews with the cast of John Singleton’s dramatic series, “Snowfall.” The show returns to FX for a second season beginning this Thursday, July 19 at 10 p.m.

I also chat with actress and gospel music sensation Latrice Pace about starring in the Actor’s Express new production of “The Color Purple.” She also opens up about her new single, "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuMRBbgfcSA">Shadow" and her Broadway aspirations.

Kathleen Bertrand and Deidre McDonald from the BronzeLens Film Festival make a BIG announcement and closing out today's show is WCLK’s Jamal Ahmad. He dropped in to chat about his https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mixSf4RQV0">new music and upcoming film, “Stepping into Tomorrow” and much more.

This week's show is sponsored by The Actor's Express production of The Color Purple playing now through July 29.
