WCLK Mourns the Passing of Assistant Station Manager, Tammy Nobles

Jazz 91.9 WCLK is saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague Tammy Nobles, who passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020.   For more than 20 years, Tammy Nobles has served as assistant station manager for Jazz 91.9 WCLK.  Prior to WCLK, Tammy served for 13 years as Membership Director for KLON/KKJZ 88.1, the country’s largest Jazz format public radio station serving Los Angeles and Orange counties in California.  Tammy also served as Foundation Director for the Evander Holyfield Youth Foundation in Atlanta.

Tammy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University, Long Beach.  Tammy also attended the Art Institute of Atlanta, where she studied in the culinary arts program.   Tammy is a graduate of Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, CA.

Tammy wrote, created and launched the business plan for Annie Laura’s Kitchen Soul Food restaurant, now operating in its 20th year in Riverdale, Georgia.
