Join WCLK Community Focus for a lively interview with Doug Shipman, CEO of Atlanta and the world's National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Our subject is the next edition of CNN Dialogues: Modern Marchers--Lessons From The Front Lines of Social Change. This panel discussion takes place Thursday, September 12 at the Carter Center from 7:00-8:30pm and is made possible by the James Weldon Johnson Institute of Emory University.
The conversation with Shipman includes a discussion of the panelists and likely topics for this edition of the CNN Dialogues, including the 21st Century Civil Rights agenda, the lasting impact of the Trayvon Martin case, voting rights issues, and the ongoing progress of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, slated to open just off of Atlanta's Centennial Park next Spring.
