Your Health Connection Talks Sense About Colon Cancer Wed @6pm On 91.9 WCLK

Your Health Connection from the Center For Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development at Clark Atlanta University returns March 18 at 6pm on 91.9 WCLK with a hopeful and compelling live conversation about Colon Cancer. March is Colon Cancer Month. Colon cancer rates and deaths are higher in the African American community than in others.  Does this have to be?  A colonoscopy can save your life.  Do you know when and how often to have one?

Jaquitta Williams is your host. She's both a journalist and a cancer survivor.  Our special guests for Wednesday's program include Dr. Natalyn Hawk, a medical oncologist from Emory University, and colon cancer survivor Char Kidd. We'll take your calls and tweets live, Wednesday at 6pm.  Your Health Connection is made possible by the National Institutes of Health and the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development at Clark Atlanta University.
