Today's edition of #UPFRONT was full of Black star power. We opened the show with Emil Thomas, artistic director of Marietta's New Theatre in the Square. He talked about the company's latest production, "Bright Half Life." The show is playing now through August 5 and is centered around the marriage of two women and the moments that make a life together.

YOU’VE ASKED FOR IT AND IT’S FINALLY HERE!

I am super excited to share with all of you my very first #UPFRONT #YOUTUBE interview. It features triple threat performer Crystal Fox aka Hanna from “Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots.” The native Atlantan stopped by the #UPFRONT studios this week to talk about the popular series and what it’s really like working with Mr. Perry and Oprah Winfrey.
