Thank You For Your Support of WCLK

Oct 26, 2017

The Jazz 91.9 WCLK 2017 Fall Fundraising Campaign was a huge success!   We are beaming with great pride as we welcome so many new members to the Jazz 91.9 WCLK family of supporters.  Members keep alive the great Jazz, Gospel and information programming you hear each day on Jazz 91.9.

Because of your support in this campaign, we will be able to provide thousands of families in need with meals, thanks to our campaign partner, the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Jazz 91.9  WCLK is partnering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help provide meals to families in need. Here’s how it works: When you contribute to WCLK online,  instead of receiving a thank you gift like of one our tote bags or t-shirts… you can choose  to provide meals for families in need. It’s that simple and that powerful.

Thanks to everyone who supported WCLK during our Spring 2017 Membership Matters Campaign. It was a huge success and we are beaming with pride as we welcome new members to the family of supporters who keep alive great Jazz, Gospel and Information programming on 91.9. Today, April 10, is our 43rd Anniversary on the air, making a difference in the Atlanta community. And because of your support during the campaign, we will be able to provide over 15,000 meals for families in need through our campaign partners at The Atlanta Community Food Bank.

From March 29 - April 9, when you make a contribution to WCLK during the Jazz 91.9 WCLK Spring Membership Campaign, you can replace your thank you gift with meals donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB).

Saturday, December 17,  7:00 a.m. on The Local Take on Jazz 91.9 WCLK,  I'll talk with Carol Crumby and Ella Davis, dedicated community leaders with the South Dekalb Improvement Association.

This non-profit organization was created for the purpose of serving as a voice for the citizens of unincorporated DeKalb County about topics that affect the quality of and are common to life across the region. The organization is broken down into sections and Ms. Davis and Crumby represent the Education Section.
