Programming on Jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by support from the Atlanta Housing Authority, presenting The Return To Community Farmers Markets and Fairs Saturday, July 15 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at 137 Elm Street SW, Atlanta 30314.  Elm Street is runs between Parsons Street and Atlanta Student Movement Boulevard between Northside Drive and the Atlanta University Center (AUC).

WCLK is out in the community this Saturday with the Atlanta Housing Authority as they present the first in a series of events called Return to Community Farmer’s Market and Fair this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 137 Elm Street SW. WCLK’s Mark Angel will be on site and there will be locally grown fresh produce, cooking demonstrations, activities for the kids, wellness programs hosted by community partners and live jazz featuring keyboard artist Darren “DJ” Wagner. WCLK will be there live Tuesday May 7 during the Midday Jazz Swing as the Atlanta Business League(ABL) celebrates their 35th Annual CEO Appreciation Luncheon honoring Renee Lewis Glover, CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority.

The event will start at 11:30am  at  the Hyatt  Regency Downtown-Atlanta.

Each year the ABL recognizes chief executive officers  for outstanding participation in minority vendor development and community activities. This year’s “Ceo of the Year” is Atlanta Housing Authority CEO Renee Lewis Glover
