Congratulations 2016 Graduates!

 Jazz 91.9 WCLK congratulates Clark Atlanta University graduates, their families, mentors and loved ones as they are celebrated at the Baccalaureate Service on Sunday May 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Epps Gymnasium, and Commencement on Monday, May 16, 8:00 a.m. at Panther Stadium.  

The 2016 Commencement Convocation orator is Mae Jemison, MD, physician, astronaut, engineer and educator.  Jemison was the first African American female to conduct a space mission.   During the ceremony, the University will award four honorary doctorate degrees to the following individuals:  Clark College Alumnus and renowned Musician, Hamilton Bohannon; Musician, Educator and Arranger, Roland Carter; Congressman John Conyers (D-MI); and Georgia's Fourth District Congressional Representative Hank Johnson (CC, '76).
