Midday Jazz with Rivablue

Support for Jazz 91.9 WCLK programming comes from Wolf Creek Amphitheater, presenting an evening of Smooth Jazz with the Dave Koz Summer Horns Tour at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 at Wolf Creek.   Koz and Albright will be joined by Richard Elliott, Rick Braun and Pieces of A Dream.

Programming on Jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office Of Cultural Affairs presenting the 41st Atlanta Jazz Festival, Saturday and Sunday, May 26 - 27 at Piedmont Park.   On Saturday night, May 26, you can attend the Late Night Jazz Jam Concert Featuring Russell Gunn and The Royal Krunk Jazz Orkestra. The event takes place at 10:00 p.m.

Spivey Hall at Clayton State University presents for one night only the Tivon Pennicott Quartet on Saturday, January 13 at 7:30  p.m. The quartet features Marietta Native, Tivon Pennicott on tenor saxophone along with Sullivan Fortner on piano.  Pennicott is a two time Grammy Award winner, and has performed and recorded with Kenny Burrell, Esperanza Spaulding and Gregory Porter. This is his first Spivey Hall appearance.  The show will be hosted by WCLK's Mark Angel.

Programming on Jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by the Hammonds House Museum in Atlanta' Historic West End.  The Hammonds House will presents its 2017 Benefit Concert Saturday, November 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College.  This year's event features an Evening With Vanessa Rubin and The Gary Motley Trio.  The concert is made possible by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. 

Programming on WCLK is made possible in part by Positive Growth Inc., celebrating 20 years of service with an awards ceremony and evening of Jazz and entertainment featuring Comedian Griff, Jazz Vocalist Julie Dexter, and Jazz Trumpeter Joey Sommerville. This event happens Friday, November 3 at 6pm at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center in Decatur. Ticket information is available here.
