Fulton Focus is a monthly public affairs program on WCLK airing third Saturdays at 7:30a as part of the WCLK Public Affairs Block. 

The December edition of the program features Jason Lane, a Job Development Specialist for the Fulton County Housing and Community Development Department  Office of Workforce Development, for a discussion about Fulton County job development for prospective employees or employers.

Fulton County Police Corporal Maureen Smith talks about ways you can "harden the target" to make yourself less likely to be a victim of crime.

Hosea Feed The Hungry And Homeless has been helping people in the Atlanta Metro area for 44 years.  The organization, originally created and driven by the late Hosea Williams, is now headed by Elisabeth Omilami and her husband Afemo.  Elisabeth Omiliami talked with Rob Maynard on the WCLK Public Affairs Block about Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless initiatives, including Thursday's Thanksgiving event at the Georgia World Congress Center.

The Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta/ISB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, apolitical educational organization that provides certified Muslim speakers to promote awareness about Islam and Muslims. Mental Health In The African American Community

Carolyn McKenzie started the non-profit group Mental Health In The African American Community/MHAAC in the aftermath of a horrible tragedy in which her favorite niece stabbed McKenzie and then killed herself.  McKenzie came to realize that the stereotypes and denial about mental health issues in the community were costing lives and ruining families.  She decided to do something to try to make a difference.
