New Music: In My Room By Jacob Collier (VIDEO)

Sep 15, 2016

London's Jacob Collier is a 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer who's video mash-ups of classic soul songs became viral videos.  This digital sharing led to collaborations with Quincy Jones on live and recorded projects.  Jazz 91.9 WCLK listeners may best know Jacob from his work with Snarky Puppy.  In My Room is his debut on Membran Entertainment Group.  At his best he reminds me of Sly Stone, an artist who blends styles to create an entirely new sound.
