Women Flying High is a civic organization paying tribute to the lasting memory and impact of the March On Washington they are presenting a series of vignettes about it between now and the 50th Anniversary on August 28. You can hear these vignettes on WCLK at various times throughout the day and we will post them online here as well.
The Africa Heritage Foundation is presenting the Africa Diaspora Conference, lecture and celebration in Atlanta September twelfth through fifteenth. Events include a Taste of Africa, a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Organization of African States, and the Africa Horizon Celebration and Award Gala event.
