The 17th Annual Duke Pearson and James Hardy Patterson Foundation, Incorporated Summer Jazz Camp takes place June 9-13 from 10a-4p at the Park Street Music and Art Complex located on the campus of Clark Atlanta University. Atlanta-born pianist and composer Duke Pearson attended what was then called Clark College and moved on from Atlanta to the world, where he worked with everyone from Little Willie John to Carmen McRae and many in between. Along the way he continued to be a part of the CAU community, teaching and performing on campus many times.
