Afemo Omilami Talks Feeding The Hungry, Kenny Leon, NAACP Image Award Nomination

Afemo Omilami came in and swapped baritones with Morris Baxter this morning on WCLK.  Hosea Feed The Hungry has worked hard to make for a happy holiday for those with the least among us, and they always can use your support and your time.

Their Christmas Dinner Event is scheduled this year at the Georgia World Congress Center, Christmas Day beginning at  and is expected to feed, clothe and otherwise support 20,000 people who can't take for granted a heated home or a packed refrigerator for the holidays.

Omilami's film career continues to bubble along nicely.  He's nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his work as Drum in Kenny Leon's re-cast of Steel Magnolias.  He's also recently worked on the first Hunger Games sequel, where he will appear as the Mayor of District 11.
