In the world of modern dance music, you would be hard pressed to find someone more influential than Chicago's own, legendary DJ/producer/vocalist, Lil Louis. The forefather of house/dance music has been leaving his indelible mark on pop culture since the late 80's and it's evident in the music of Daft Punk, Drake, David Guetta and so many others. He's ready to release his most ambitious project to date, a six album set that ranges from orchestral, cinematic pieces to classic Chicago jack tracks. I was so honored to have the man stop by the WCLK studios (seeing that we were one of the first stations in Atlanta to play his music) and he shared some colorful, awe-inspiring stories about his 40 plus years as a DJ.
