#UPFRONT is back with a brand new show this week and features my one-on-one interviews with producer and filmmaker Datari Turner + triple threat performer Jasmine Burke.
Turner is an accomplished producer of films and reality series such as WEtv's hugely successful, "Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta." He also has a brand new movie that is premiering on Monday, January 22 at the Sundance Film Festival titled, A Boy A Girl A Dream. It stars "Power" actor Omari Hardwick and versatile actress Meagan Good. (Click here to watch the trailer).
Burke is the star of Bounce TV's hit drama series, "Saints & Sinners" and has released a new book titled, Work Your Audition. The actress, singer, dancer and budding entrepreneur stopped by #UPFRONT to chat about the inspiration behind the project and her aim to help future talent score their next big role.
I'll also be playing music from SADE in celebration of her birthday this week.
"UPFRONT Inside Atlanta Entertainment Industry" is a 30-minutes arts and entertainment program that features one-on-one interviews with all of the movers and shakers in television, music, film, theater and fashion. UPFRONT airs every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. on WCLK 91.9 and is hosted by Ray Cornelius.
