Today's UPFRONT is another exciting one! We continue our celebration of Black History Month with interviews from the cast of TV One’s original movie Behind the Movement. Isaiah Washington, Loretta Devine and Roger G. Smith open up about their characters that helped shape the iconic Civil Rights Movement. The film airs tomorrow night at 7 p.m. EST.
UPFRONT also catches up with the cast of Horizon Theatre Company's The Ballad of Klook and Vinette. Brittany Inge and Amari Cheatom discuss their sexy new musical production that has everyone talking.
Closing out the show is my exclusive interview with TV and film star Cassi Davis. The Spelman College alumnus chats about her return to primetime as “Ella” in OWN’s new series The Paynes. We also take a trip down memory lane and commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Spike Lee's School Daze.
