Join us 4th Saturdays at 7:00 a.m. for CAU Now - Lifting Every Voice.  CAU Now - Lifting Every Voice is a compelling monthly radio program highlighting academic excellence and issues in higher education from Clark Atlanta University faculty,  students and industry thought leaders, with topics curated by CAU Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Peter Nwosu, and it is hosted by WCLK Operations Manager Rob Maynard.

CAU Now Lifting Every Voice highlights the ongoing academic goals and achievements of Clark Atlanta University, the largest of the nation’s 37 Member United Negro College Fund Institutions. We’re telling the stories of academic excellence and strategic planning happening right now at one of America’s great HBCUs. We were joined by Dr. Eric Mintz.  Mintz is a professor of chemistry in the CAU Research Center for Science and Technology, he is Director of the CAU High Performance Polymers and Composites Center, but he is also Director of the CAU/UNCF Career Pathways Initiative. The Career Pathways Initiative helps elevate career success among HBCU graduates by aligning curriculum and instructional strategies to anticipate and better address shifting local and national workforce trends.

Join us for CAU NOW-Lifting Every Voice, Saturday, April 29 at 7:00 a.m. on Jazz 91.9 WCLK.  This edition will highlight the Fifth Annual Atlanta Studies Symposium, a collaboration between the Clark Atlanta University Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice and the James Weldon Johnson Institute at Emory University.  

A roundtable discussion will take place at Noon on Wednesday, April 26 in the Exhibition Hall at the Atlanta University Center (AUC) Robert W. Woodruff Library.  Panelists will include:  Dr. Barbara Harris Combs, Clark Atlanta University;  Samuel Livingston, Morehouse College; Calinda Lee, Atlanta History Center; Deirdre Oakley; and, Dr. Maurice Hobson, Georgia State University and Charles Stephens of the Counter Narrative Project.   Dr. Kali-Ahset Amen of Emory University will serve as our moderator.

Tune in Saturday, March 25 at 7:00 a.m. for a special edition of CAU Now-Lifting Every Voice.  This edition of CAU Now will focus on the Clark Atlanta University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development.

Saturday morning December 31 at 7am tune in to WCLK for the CAU Now Lifting Every Voice as we discuss the good news happening on the Clark Atlanta University campus every day. This month we’ll discuss the research and sponsored programs at CAU that are driving future innovation and future careers. Our guests include CAU Interim Vice President of Research and Sponsored Programs Dr. Shafiq Khan, CAU Distinguished Professor and Asa Edmund Ware Chair in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice Dr. Obie Clayton, and Chemistry Professor Dr. Eric Mintz.

CAU Now-Lifting Every Voice returns for November on Saturday morning at 7:00am with a wide-ranging interview with Dr. Danille K. Taylor, Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences. We'll  discuss the career and life advantages to be gained from the 20 different department and schools that make up Arts & Sciences at CAU. More information is available at cau.edu.
