Drummer and Composer Harvey Mason has provided the beat for an astounding list of artists, from Frank Sinatra to John Legend, but he's probably best known for playing as part of the Headhunters, with Herbie Hancock.  He's also a founding member of Fourplay.

Mason's new release Chameleon has a little something for everyone, if you are a fan of great beats.

WCLK PD Aaron Cohen is featuring Mason's new release on Serenade To The City, Mon-Fri 10p-2a on Atlanta's Jazz Station.  You can also hear the new record throughout the day.

Take Saxophonist Dave Koz, mix in Mindy Abair, Gerald Albright and Richard Elliot and what do you have?  A contemporary jazz tour de force,                        Dave Koz & Friends.  You're hearing it a lot these days throughout the day on WCLK.

PD Aaron Cohen is calling it this week's Serenade To The City Pick of The Week.  You can catch Serenade To The City, Atlanta's late night jazz soundtrack, Monday-Friday 10pm-2am.
