Atlanta Business League

Saturday morning at 8am on The Local Take on WCLK I talked with AJC Senior Managing Editor Monica Richardon, co-chairperson of the Atlanta Business League Men of Influence Reception and Induction Ceremony taking place on Tuesday, July 24th at the Hyatt Regency-Downtown Atlanta at 6pm. Ms. Richardson shares that the Men of Influence program reflects the success of African-American businessmen who are making history in their endeavors.

This annual event recognizes local CEOs for outstanding participation in minority vendor development and community involvement.

Rob Maynard talked with Tommy Dortch on a special segment on The Local Take on WCLK in Saturday about the Atlanta Business League, and it's upcoming 11th Annual Congress On The State of Black Business in Metro Atlanta. The event takes place all day Monday, April 9 on the campus of Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

The Atlanta Business League (ABL) will host their 84th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 14 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  At this Annual Meeting business leaders are inducted into the ABL Business Hall of Fame.   On the November 11 edition of The Local Take, we speak with two of the inductees, Noel Khalil and Rodney K. Strong. 

Noel Khalil is the founder and owner of Columbia Residential, LLC which  began in 1991. I speak with Mr. Khalil about his decision to become an entrepreneur.  He shares that his business focuses on affordable housing.

CEO, Rodney K. Strong.
