Your Health Connection with JaQuitta Williams returns at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 and features a look at diagnosing, treating and, surviving cervical and gynecologic cancer.  Cervical cancer affects approximately 12,000 women each year in America and, the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD) and Jazz 91.9 WCLK will feature a conversation you or the women in your life may be able to use to help bring about healthy outcomes in their lives.

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month.   And, with advances in treatment and diagnostics, more people than ever are being screened and treated before this illness becomes fatal.  We'll talk about it on Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. on Your Health Connection with JaQuitta Williams. JaQuitta will take your calls and questions live at (404) 880 - 9255 and will be joined by:  Dr. Clarence Clark III, MD, FACS, Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine; and, Colon Cancer Survivor, Burnell Paul.

Join WCLK's Kiplyn Primus for A Local Take Seminar on Human Sex Trafficking Sunday at 2pm at The National Center For Civil And Human Rights downtown. This event is a men-only event, allowing Atlanta-area men to learn some of the grim realities and exploitation of minor children that drives Atlanta's legendary illegal sex trade.

David Branch from the Morehouse School of Medicine will be the moderator.
