Jazz Night In America is NPR Music's flagship jazz program, and airs in Atlanta exclusively on WCLK Saturday mornings at 6a and Sunday evenings at 7p. The program is produced by NPR, our friends at WBGO in Newark, and the Jazz At Lincoln Center program. This weekend you can hear from off the radar piano virtuoso and vocalist Johnny O'Neal.
WCLK remembers Joe Sample, jazz composer, keyboardist and co-founder of crucial jazz-funk band The Crusaders. Another jazz great is gone too soon. This news comes hard to fans of The Crusaders, who also mourned the passing of Wayne Henderson in April. Listen to WCLK in days to come as we play his music and remember his influence.

Join us for JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater Saturday morning at 6:00a and Sunday evening at 7:00p. This weekend's program features the last JazzSet appearance of the late pianist Mulgrew Miller and his trio playing a set of jazz classics, including songs from Cole Porter, Charlie Parker, and Thelonius Monk. Miller passed away in May 2013.

WCLK is not only Atlanta's home for Jazz for almost 40 years, we are also your home for Jazz Programming from National Public Radio. Each week you hear from Dee Dee Bridgewater on JazzSet, Piano Jazz, with Jon Weber carrying on the legacy of Marian McPartland . In addition we bring you jazz programming from the African American Public Radio Consortium/AAPRC, including The Roots of Smooth with Bobby Jackson and Cafe Jazz with Gene Knight.
You'll never miss a minute of jazz here and around the world by listening to Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta's Jazz Station.
WCLK joins jazz and music fans across the world in wishing a peaceful passage for Marian McPartland, longtime host of NPR's Piano Jazz, heard weekly on the Jazz of The City Sundays at 8pm. For more information about her fascinating history and lasting legacy go to NPR Music by clicking here.
